Luas Lucan

Luas Lucan Scheme is a proposed east-west mass transit corridor running approximately from the areas of Lucan-Adamstown to Southern areas of Dublin City Centre, which may potentially connect to the Luas Green Line. The scheme has been a long-term objective for the Greater Dublin Area and more recently the Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy (RSES) for the Eastern and Midland Region. Commitment to study the feasibility of the Scheme is confirmed by the publication of both the Project Ireland 2040 National Planning Framework (NPF) and the National Development Plan (NDP) 2021-2030.
